So, I left Thursday morning at an ungodly hour, got to San Francisco, tooled around JapanTown with a couple of connies, went back to the hotel, and bummed around for the day.

Friday con began, so I put on my Reno costume and hijacked Jewel, dragging her out into the lobby. We met Rufus, took some pictures, posed for the photographer from Cosplay.com, and pretty much bummed around with Rufus for awhile. Helped set up the Swap-meet, took lots of pictures (because Rufus is a camera slut. We love that about you, Ru-kun!), and I think we went out to dinner with our roomies, Rufus, the connies from the JapanTown trip and their roomie, PK (who was a hilarious Hard Gay), and finished off the day with a lot more pictures and wandering the halls. Oh, and of course there was the requisite Hot Tub Time. Can't go to con without relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of pics, wandering, and people, ne?

Saturday was much of the same, save for Rufus became Cloud and some camcorder time during which a KH cosplayer all but devoured Cloud's face. Had I known, I'd have pulled the girl off of him and reminded her that cosplay kisses are NOT real ones and should just be a pressing of lips, not thrusting her tongue down his throat and all but chewing his lips off. Jewel, Reno, and I ended up being the Cloud protection service. Funny how a pair of Turks ended up protecting Cloud Strife, ne? lol

Sunday Cloud morphed into Dante and even more pics were to be had. Closing ceremonies were nice and Rufus (who morphed back into Rufus just for the raffle) won at the raffle five times, and each time he took Reno and I up on stage with him. At first, the ladies who were running the raffle protested, but we assured her that we were simply "Rufus' Turks and had to keep shachou safe". They got a kick out of it. Oh, and I won a pink purse. Pink is the devil, of course, but Cid Highwind swung me around on stage, so that makes up for the evil pink. ^_~

We closed out Sunday night with a photoshoot. One of Reno's friends had a Kadaj costume and we took many, many, many, many pictures. I'll post a pic of Cid Highwind and myself, but the others are going to Rufus and Kadaj and I won't post them here. Now, I'm going to go to the grocer and get ready for classes. Ja na, minna!
